Beddy Butler does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

What the app stores

Beddy Butler stores your bedtime schedules, chosen weekdays or rotation cycle, personality, volume, delivery style, onboarding state, one night adjustments, snooze state, and pending visual nudge count. These preferences remain in the app's sandboxed local UserDefaults container on your Mac.

What the app does not do

No account or sign in.
No analytics, advertising, telemetry, or tracking.
No cloud synchronisation.
No sale or sharing of data.
No access to your contacts, calendar, microphone, camera, photos, or location.
No network entitlement.

Notifications and startup

Notification Centre alerts are optional and are created locally on your Mac. Beddy Butler asks for notification permission only when you enable that feature. Open at Login is also optional and uses the system's Login Items control.

Website and feedback

The app can open this website and the project's GitHub issue form in your default browser. Any information you choose to submit there is governed by the relevant service's policy.

Deleting your data

Removing the app and its container deletes its stored preferences. You can also reset settings within the app.
