Made for real lives

Your week does not have to look like anyone else's.

Weekends, worship, late shifts, rotating rosters, travel, and the occasional exception all belong in a bedtime app.

Any nights you choose

Name two independent schedules and assign any weekdays to either. Friday and Saturday are no longer assumptions.

Rotating shifts

Build a cycle from working and rest nights. Beddy follows the pattern forward and backward from your chosen anchor date.

One night adjustment

Running late or turning in early? Change tonight only. Your carefully made schedule remains untouched.

Progressive persuasion

Let reminders naturally escalate as the window continues, then reset to gentle when a new evening begins.

Built for clock changes

Calendar based scheduling handles midnight, daylight saving, time zones, sleep, wake, and manual clock corrections.

Three manners of persuasion

How firmly may he insist?

Every voice is original. The restored library has been carefully balanced and the longest Zombie monologues have been split into mercifully short nudges.

The Shy Butler yawning politely

A gentle hint

Shy

Soft, courteous encouragement for those who only need a nudge.

The Insistent Butler asking firmly

A firmer word

Insistent

Clearer direction when courtesy alone is not quite getting through.

The Zombie Butler in theatrical undead character

The final resort

Zombie

A chilling forewarning of how you might feel tomorrow, staying up far beyond any reasonable hour.

A reminder does not have to make a sound

A silly little app, lovingly restored

Ten years later, the Butler returns.

Beddy Butler began in 2016 as a playful cure for nights that went on too long. The new edition keeps the original character and recordings, then rebuilds everything around them in native Swift 6 for modern macOS.

It is still silly. It is now also somewhat good.

The evening can end beautifully

Put tomorrow's you to bed.
